Rhodesian Ridgebacks Kennel "KIMOYO"KIMOYO is the name of our kennel, the word means ‘darling’ or ‘favourite’ in the African Swahili language. Our kennel "KIMOYO" are registered with RCF (the Russian Cynological Federation), FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale) and we are members of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Russia. The main activity of our kennel is breeding pedigree, beautiful, strong, sociable, spirited, easily trained and self-confident Ridgebacks, with fine working qualities and excellent mentality. All the dogs from our kennel are regularly exhibited at dog shows and have received awards. Our dogs are tested for character ( temperament ) and for HD and ED. We use the services of a licensed experienced veterinarian (with a degree in Veterinary Sciences), who helps to keep our dogs and puppies in good health, as well as qualified cynologists, dog handlers and hunting trainers. We strive to produce attractive, competitive, exhibition quality dogs, which at the same time still keep their working skills. To this end, our kennel select and develop the best working and exhibition bloodlines from known South African kennels. We use stud dogs from old bloodlines of South Africa, who have kept the original breed qualities of the Rhodesian Ridgeback which combine hunting abilities and companionship qualities. |
